The smart way to pay for food and drink on campus.

Food Bundles are available to all students living in University of Leeds accommodation and allow you to buy credit in advance to spend in the Refectory and any of our cafés on campus, using the GFaL Rewards app.

Food Bundles offer you better value for money than paying with cash or card because most come with extra free credit.

You can spend Food Bundles credit in any of our Great Food at Leeds operated catering outlets, this excludes Caffè Nero sites and eateries in Leeds University Union on campus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your Food Bundle can be accessed through the GFaL Rewards app.  

Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.  

To set up your account, sign up to the app using your name and University email address. This email is linked to your Food Bundles credit. Verify your account with the code sent to your University email address. Your balance will then be visible on the app home page.

Food Bundles are exclusively available to students who live in University owned accommodation. 

Any GFaL Rewards account found to be inactive for a period of 18 months or more will be closed. Refunds will not be available after 18 months or more of inactivity. 

Your Food Bundle credit will be added to your account within three working days after purchase.  

Open the GFaL Rewards app and scan your in-app QR code at the till.   

Yes, you will receive loyalty rewards on the GFaL Rewards app.   

Your Food Bundles balance will appear on the home page in your app.

Food Bundles can only be used in Great Food at Leeds operated outlets, this excludes Caffè Nero sites on campus.
