The University of Leeds is proud to have been awarded the ‘Food for the Brain’ Nutritional Accreditation for the 6th year in a row.
The Great Food at Leeds team were praised for their impressive focus on sustainability, seasonality and provenance of products with 45% of suppliers being within 20 miles of the University. They were also complimented for their expanding range of gluten-free products and continued enthusiasm and commitment to Food for the Brain and healthy eating. Other areas of praise were the quality of snacks and drink, high fibre content and low levels of processed fats, artificial additives and essential fats.
Food for the Brain is a charitable foundation working to inform, educate and empower individuals to change their diet and lifestyle and take greater control of their own mental health.
