We’re excited to announce that Great Food at Leeds’ expert chefs, Simon Wood and Chris Johnson will be representing Leeds University in the Chefs’ Challenge this March.
The challenge will consist of cooking a three course meal from a list of ingredients presented to them with just one hour to come up with a menu suitable for fine dining.
The winners will be the team who, in the judges’ opinion, produce and present the ‘best tasting meal’ in the most professional manner on the day.
The menu will consist of:
A vegetarian starter course of competitors choice.
A main using short saddle of lamb.
A dessert based on a classic recipe of Bakewell tart.
