Great Food at Leeds fully complies with the Food Standards Agency Information for Consumers Regulation.

Great Food at Leeds is committed to reducing the risk to students, staff and visitors with regard to the provision of food for those with food allergies and food intolerance.

Our food is carefully prepared in a traditional way in our kitchens. We apply strict control measures in order to reduce the risk of allergen cross-contamination, however, please be aware that the kitchens do handle food containing all 14 major allergens. Our staff are trained in applying allergen cross-contamination control measures and are able to assist you in making safe food choices.

Our Responsibility

Current legislation requires us to provide customers with accurate ingredient information regarding the 14 major food allergens contained in non-prepacked foods that we serve, these are listed below:

CELERY
Cereals containing GLUTEN
CRUSTACEANS
EGGS
FISH
LUPIN
MILK
MOLLUSCS
MUSTARD
NUTS
PEANUTS
SESAME SEEDS
SOYA
SULPHUR DIOXIDE

Great Food at Leeds ensures that this information can be supplied for you in all retail outlets and when using Deli(very) through the hospitality administrator. We will also ensure that all food sold pre-packed contains labelling which conforms to manufactured food allergen labelling legislation.

Your Responsibility

We promote self-responsibility from all of our customers by actively encouraging customers with specific dietary requirements to discuss them with our staff.

Please feel comfortable to ask any member of staff about the ingredients in our dishes.
