What’s the deal?

For just  £10 a week, you’ll get  five regular hot drinks  from any GFaL café across campus.

That’s your daily brew sorted – whether it’s a morning flat white, a mid-lecture mocha or a soothing tea to wind down. 

Your first week is just £5. Try it out for half the price. Cancel anytime. 

What’s included?

Your subscription covers any regular-sized hot drink  – coffee, tea, hot chocolate – from all Great Food at Leeds cafés across campus. Iced drinks are not included.

  • Tap ‘Subscriptions’ on the home page

    You might need to scroll down a little bit.

  • Tap ‘Hot Drink Subscription’

    Follow the instructions, sign up in seconds and unlock your weekly drinks.

  • Scan and sip

    Just scan your normal app QR code (on the home page) at the till and enjoy your drinks.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Hot Drink Subscription is a flexible subscription that allows students, staff and visitors to enjoy up to 5 regular hot drinks per week from Great Food at Leeds outlets. The subscription will automatically rollover each week unless cancelled and can be paid for with app credit or directly with card. 

The subscription is available to all University of Leeds students, staff and visitors. 

The subscription covers the following drinks in a regular size: 

  • Tea 
  • Coffee (Americano, Latte, Flat White, Mocha, Cappuccino, Espresso and Chai Latte) 
  • Hot chocolate 

Iced drinks are NOT included. 

Specialty drinks or add-ons (e.g. syrups) may incur an extra charge. 

You can use your subscription at all Great Food at Leeds cafés and the Refectory. Check out our cafes for a full list of outlets. 

  • Introductory offer: £5 first week 
  • Standard subscription: £10 per week 

Subscriptions can be purchased via the GFaL Rewards app.

Yes, a subscription can be cancelled anytime. Once purchased for the upcoming 7 days, a refund is not possible. Once opted out, the subscription will not automatically rollover. 

Yes! Subscribers are encouraged to use reusable cups. 

No, subscriptions are non-transferable and should only be used by the named individual on the GFaL Rewards account.

Yes! If you’d like, you can use all your free drinks at the same time. So feel free to treat your friends and colleagues to a hot drink.

Syrups are not included, these will incur an additional charge. Milk alternatives are still included as part of your subscription.

The Hot Drink Subscription cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
