How does it work?
Your meal plan is topped up daily during term time with credit that can be spent in The Refectory and at Hugo, the Camionnette Café.
Unused credit will not be carried over to the following day.

How do I access my Meal Plan credit?
Your daily credit can be accessed through the GFaL Club app.
Once you’ve downloaded the GFaL Club app and authenticated your account you will be able to enjoy a delicious selection of meals and grab and go items in the award-winning Refectory and Hugo, the camionette café on campus, using your Meal Plan credit.
To authenticate your app, sign in using your University email address. This email is linked to your Meal Plan purse. The app allows you to use your Meal Plan credit, check your balance and collect hot drink stamps.
If you require an alternative method to access your Meal Plan credit, please email gfalclub@leeds.ac.uk.
Can I spend more than my daily limit?
Yes! If you want to spend more money you can pay extra at the till, or if you’ve added your payment card to the Great Food at Leeds Club app, you can use that for the remaining balance.
Where can I use my meal plan credit?
The Meal Plan package can be used in the Refectory and Hugo, the Camionnette Café.
What if I can’t get to the Refectory before 6.30pm?
If on certain days you won’t be able to get to the Refectory before 6.30pm then please inform the duty manager before 11am that day. They will arrange for a packaged meal to be made up for your collection.
What happens if I need to collect food over the weekend?
If you need to reserve a meal for collection over the weekend, then please inform the duty manager before 11am on the Friday morning. They will arrange for a packaged meal to be made up for your collection.
What happens if the Refectory is closed for an event?
Sometimes the Refectory is used for an event and this means it may be closed. All Meal Plan students will be sent an email informing them of this and you will have the option of collecting a takeaway meal for that day.
