Hugo’s History

We fell in love with Hugo as soon as we met him. Here’s a little more about his background.

Hugo is an original Citroen H Van, born in France and is over 30 years old.

The vans were developed as a simple front wheel driven van after World War II with a total of 473,289 produced in 34 years in factories in France and Belgium.

Retaining his Gallic charm, Hugo has now been converted into a fully operational Catering van.

The name Camionnette Café comes from the French word meaning van, so literally, Hugo the van Café.
